Psychic Reading Anyone?
Use the Google Map and search for “psychic readings” in NYC and you’ll find over 1600 shops. Not shocking to me, because I swear everywhere I go I see one. Can’t blame me for being tempted.
In the past 16 years I’ve been to two local readers.
My first reading was for laughs when a friend and I had some time to kill. The woman took my 10, held my hand and told me a great tragedy was about to befall me and if I paid her $500 she could make it all go away. I was only 18 and didn’t have the funds to pay her, so I left with misery and fear in my heart. Hell, back then, our 2 bedroom apartment cost $550 a month. Where was a college student/chicken shack cashier going to get that kind of money. Did a great tragedy befall me? Sure, if she was referring to me marrying my jackass first husband.
My second reading was four years later. (Ex)Hubby and I were having problems and my girlfriend dragged me over to see a psychic in the neighborhood who she felt helped her. This woman took my 5, dealt the cards and told me my mother-in-law was doing voodoo on me to break up my marriage and she could help me — if I paid her $250 and brought her a bunch of personal items, including my husband’s semen. Yep. I never returned and my husband and I did split 3 years later, so I’m not saying the psychic lied, I just wasn’t comfortable with her. I also didn’t think staying married to him was worth $250.
Six years ago, I reached out to an out-of-state psychic at the request of my best friend. I was going through rough times and she felt her experiences with him had changed her life around and just kept nudging me to call him. I can tell you all his predictions did come true. He was right about everything he said to me and he didn’t offer to remove my problems for xxx amount of dollars. But the most wonderful thing about this psychic, Gordon Banta, was at a low point in my life, he gave me guidance and hope. He set me on a path where I was so sure of myself and of Nature’s guidance that I didn’t call him again until two years ago, but then I found out he’d passed.
I’ve recently found a psychic who’s touched my heart in the same way. Mesina, of Psychic Whispers, is truly a caring woman who hit the nail on the head about everything. I had a standard reading done via email (she lives in the UK). I gave her my name and birthday and asked her 3 specific questions related to my career. The next day I received my reading by email and we also corresponded a few times about clarification I needed. As the few who read my blog know, I’m in the midst of a huge family crisis, but I’ve never given details and there’s no where on the web you could find details. But Mesina knew. It’s part of my standard reading for her to “connect” with me and she could feel my pain and was able to “see” a lot of what is going on and gave me guidance and hope for the future of our family. She also gave me very good insight into my current employer and the plans that I’ve been making for the future.
If you’ve been feeling lost or just want a bit of insight, I recommend her highly. She’s a very sweet caring woman and I’m happy to have connected to her at the recommendation of marymac’s post over at Pajamas & Coffee.

I'm so glad that she helped you. Hope things are going better for you.
thank you Dazee, hope you're having a better week.
Thank you so much Vanita, your words are so kind! It was a pleasure reading for you and thank you for the post mention! xx
No, THANK YOU Mesina, you were wonderful.
I love this! I have never been to a psychic before, but I have heard both good and bad about others' experiences. This my first time to your blog, and I love it! I will definitely be back for more! Oh, and thanks for stopping by my blog, too! I look forward to getting to know you better!

Jessica, thanks for stopping by. I have to say, my main reason with speaking with a psychic wasn't to "know" the future, but more to have guidance for the present. I believe we all have free will and our destiny isn't set in stone, so no one can predict exactly what is going to happen, then can only give you the possibilities and guidance. But, that's just my belief.
I have never been to a psychic before but I've always been intrigued. I am glad to hear that you found someone and it has been a positive experience for you.
I've always been intrigued and now even more so! WOW! Is all I've got to say!
theresa thanks for stopping by. the experience all depends on how comfortable you are with the psychic. Mesina's reading are really affordable too!
I can also say that Gordon Banta was an amazing psychic. He was a friend of my Mom and I had the honor of meeting him a few years before his passing. I don’t know if you met him in person but he was warm, and kind and very genuine with bright blue eyes.
Hi Ashley, Thanks for stopping by. I never met Gordon, but he was wonderful. He gave me hope to move on and 4 years later I can tell you that what he told me did come to pass. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Warm, caring man.
I’m glad you finally find a worthy psychic. Yeah, frauds are everywhere and being careful is always important. If a psychic is telling you things that seem too good to be true then for sure that’s a fraud. Their job is to make lots of money, not to help you. Granted, there are real psychics who are gifted and working on psychic network lines, but I have found that most of the people working as psychic advisors period, are not real at all.
I gotta ask, isn’t that exactly what u do? Aren’t you an advisor according to your website address? Nice thorough comment by the way. Better than the other link building spam I receive.
I know I’m very late here to comment on this post but I recently had a reading with Mesina and I actually found her to be quite impressive.
Her predictions are a few months away, so I can’t comment on that yet, but I felt that as far as her current knowledge of the situation was concerned she said enough to make me believe she was the real deal. So we’ll see what happens as the future unfolds! Hope I’m not eating my words in a few months lol.
