The Other Social Profiles

One thing I haven’t had time for is hooking up all of my social presence. But little by little, I try.

About.Me

Hooked up my About.Me page and I’m pretty proud of it.

it’s a huge deal for me.

the old page was so dark you could barely see me.

I was pretty self conscious about my looks.

I’ve always tried to hide in dark colors.

And though this may be a bit dark, it’s not black. icon biggrin The Other Social Profiles

Plus I feel it shares ME better than the last page.

it may never make Featured, but that’s ok. I’m just pretty darn happy.

Twylah

I’ve always liked Twylah. It’s actually helped me land a few gigs. I’m hosting my twylah page now and it can be found at tweets.afterbedtimeblog.com

It’s always pretty cool to look through it and see what you’ve really been posting about.
I love that I could add My trending Topics to the bottom of my posts right below the comments box

Youtube

Absolutely becoming a huge part of my blogging. I decided to finally hook up the Featured page.

What’s Next?

Pinterest. Linkedin.

Seriously my Pin Boards are all screwy And would you believe i never added my portfolio to Linkedin, thouh it’s my very first social network.

Also, I’m revamping vanitacyril.com again.

Frankly, it’s gone to shit.

Y’all know me, I like chilling and working with the bloggers.

What am I going to turn it into?

Not one bloody clue.

LOL.

My rant spot?

So, besides Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin, where else can you be found? Feel free to leave links, I’ll stop by.

p.s. I’d really like to host some guest posts. y’all must be sick of hearing from me all the time. If you’re a regular reader and you’re interested, drop me an email.

  1. Hi Vanita,

I know what you are talking about here. I am forever tweaking and changing my profiles. Takes a good long while before I am truly satisfied with them and that almost never happens.

More often than not I ignore or redo and then grit my teeth. I suspect that it stems from my being my own biggest critic, but that is something I think a few of us battle.

    • Jack many of us battle that self-critic disease. it’s why making things so time consuming. I have a friend who just “gets it done” and keeps moving and she sure as hell ends up with more time on her hands than me. Jack, do you have an about.me page? i’d love to see it. may give me ideas to change mine again. :-l

  2. Well, I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagr.am.

I think that’s enough, or maybe too many?

I’m actually also on StumbleUpon (hardly ever use it now) and have a YouTube channel back when I vlogged occasionally, but haven’t kept it updated. Not enough time!

  3. Love your about.me page.
By the way – I did not receive this post and the next one (Google 2012) via email. Perhaps I must subscribe again?

Hugs! Go on – you deserve to be a celebrity.
